YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER PLAN.
You need a decision that changes
everything
Success
Changes the problems.
I’ve learned that success doesn’t necessarily make a business simpler.
It changes what the business asks of you.
The structure that worked when you were smaller can become the thing slowing you down.
The decisions that once belonged with the founder eventually need to belong somewhere else.
The person who got you here may not be the person you need in the same seat next.
And sometimes the thing you’re proudest of building is the very thing you have to be willing to question.
I’ve lived versions of that myself.
I built a real estate brokerage through the Great Recession and learned that markets don’t make or break us nearly as much as the decisions we make inside them.
Years later, as President of RE/MAX, I led a global organization of 140,000+ agents across 110+ countries through enormous industry disruption.
Different scale. Different problems.
Same lesson:
What got you here matters.
But it doesn't get to dictate what comes next.

WHY LEADERS BRING ME INTO THE ROOM
Work with amy
Smart leaders don’t suddenly stop being smart.
Sometimes they’re simply too close to the system they’re trying to change.
Organizations adapt. A decision doesn’t get made, so someone creates a workaround. People compensate for unclear ownership. A temporary solution becomes a process. The process becomes part of how the company operates.
Eventually, the workaround starts looking like the business.
That’s where an outside perspective can become incredibly valuable.
I’ve seen business from very different seats.
I’ve been the owner and operator with payroll to make, customers to keep and a business to grow. And I’ve led at global scale as President of RE/MAX, a publicly traded global company, where decisions carried implications across markets, countries and thousands of businesses.
Those experiences taught me to see both the business in front of me and the larger system around it.
I don’t belong to Sales, Operations, Finance, the founder, the board—or the way you’ve always done it.
I can ask the question without needing a particular answer to be right.
And I’ll keep asking when something doesn’t add up.
My job isn’t to walk in with the answer.
It’s to help us get to the right one—to find the problem that actually matters, make the decisions it requires, and move the business forward.
WHY TAKE THE
IRREVERSIBLE STEP™ WITH ME
Organizations come to me when they’re stuck between a business that looks successful—and a truth they can’t ignore anymore.
They don’t just need perspective. They need a path.
And they need someone who’s faced the pressure, made the commitment, and built what came next.
Whether it was helping agents thrive in a collapsing market, leading a billion-dollar brokerage, guiding a global brand through disruption—or now standing on stage—my work has always been about one thing:
I build leaders and companies. I wake them up. I help them discover and make the bold decision that makes everything else possible.
This isn’t just about success.
It’s about the kind of freedom that changes everything.
Because when finally take the step—you don’t want to go back.
What Becomes
Possible
WHEN YOU STOP SOLVING THE WRONG THING, A LOT CAN CHANGE.
-
✓ You can stop funding the workaround.
-
✓ Stop asking good people to compensate for a structure that isn’t working.
-
✓ Stop having versions of the same meeting.
-
✓ Make the decision that’s been waiting to be made.
-
✓ Put time, talent and capital against what actually matters.
-
✓ Build leadership for the company you’re becoming—not just the one you’ve already built.
-
✓ And sometimes, once the thing creating all that friction finally moves, you discover something else
There was more possible for the business than anyone could see while they were busy managing the problem.
The next level demands a different conversation.

Official Bio
Amy Lessinger is a strategic advisor, speaker, entrepreneur, and former President of RE/MAX who helps founders, CEOs, executive teams, and organizations see what others miss.
For more than 30 years, Amy has built, scaled, and led organizations through growth, disruption, complexity, and high-stakes change. She grew a real estate brokerage to nearly $1 billion in annual sales during the Great Recession and later served as President of RE/MAX, helping lead 140,000+ agents across 110+ countries through significant industry transformation.
Today, Amy brings that experience to leaders and organizations navigating growth, transition, stalled momentum, and organizational complexity. Known for her curiosity, directness, and ability to quickly see beneath the obvious problem, she helps leadership teams identify the decisions, behaviors, assumptions, and structural issues creating friction—and challenge what they’ve accepted as fixed.
Her Rule of 2 reflects a belief shaped by decades inside complex organizations: most companies aren’t dealing with dozens of disconnected problems. They’re dealing with one or two core issues driving almost everything else.
But identifying the problem is only the beginning.
Amy works with leaders to make the decisions it requires, change what needs to change, and move the business forward.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS YET.
You don’t have to diagnose it before we talk.
You may simply know something isn’t working the way it should. Or that the business you’re trying to build requires something different from the one you’re running today.
That’s often the reason to talk.
